Frequently asked questions
The short answers.
What DriveDash is, what it costs, and what to expect.
What exactly is DriveDash?
A personal, read-only web dashboard configured for your household. It puts the information you already use into one glanceable screen designed for the Tesla browser.
How does this work?
Complete the intake form and pay $20 to begin. We configure your dashboard, you review it, and the remaining $180 is due after approval and before activation.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You choose what you want and provide the requested links or calendar information. We assemble and deliver the finished dashboard.
Can I configure it to work for me?
Yes. Choose from supported calendar, weather, news, markets, sports, and useful-link modules. Your form answers determine the content and arrangement.
Will it work for my Tesla?
DriveDash is designed for Tesla vehicles with a built-in browser that can open standard secure websites. Browser availability and behavior are controlled by Tesla, so you can test our examples in your vehicle before ordering.
Does it work anywhere else?
Yes. Your DriveDash link also works on modern phones, tablets, and computers with a web browser.
How do I use it in my car?
Open your personal DriveDash address in the Tesla browser, enter your PIN, and save the page as a browser favorite for easy return visits.
Is DriveDash read-only?
Yes. DriveDash displays information; it is not an appointment editor. Add or change events in your existing calendar, and the dashboard reflects the updated source.
Does the information update automatically?
Supported modules refresh automatically. Timing and availability can still depend on your calendar source, internet connection, and third-party data providers.
What should I know about the Tesla browser?
Tesla may unload the browser when you switch to another app. When you return, DriveDash may need to reload; saved information appears first when available while fresh data updates.
Is my family calendar private?
Your family subdomain and PIN discourage casual viewing, but the PIN is not secure authentication. Avoid displaying sensitive personal, medical, financial, or location details in calendar titles.
How much does it cost?
The introductory price is $200, regularly $250. The current payment schedule is $20 to begin and $180 after you approve the finished dashboard.
Is there an ongoing fee?
Hosting on your DriveDash subdomain is included, and we do not currently expect a subscription or recurring hosting fee. If platform costs materially change, we will provide advance notice before any future fee.
Can I change it after I buy it?
Yes. Design changes that fit the supported DriveDash schema are $20 per change request. Requests requiring custom development are not included.
Is it supported?
One year of support for bugs and dashboard glitches is included. Post-delivery design or configuration changes are handled separately at the rate above.
What information will I need to provide?
Your module choices, location for weather, calendar source, teams or market symbols, useful links, preferred subdomain, and PIN. Only provide information you are comfortable displaying.
How long will it take?
After reviewing your form, we will confirm the expected delivery time before work begins. Timing depends on your selected modules and how quickly the required information is available.
